• PROMOTION OF WORLD PEACE
THROUGH PRAYER AND MEDITATION
PLANETARY PEACE MOVEMENT
INTERNATIONAL

The Planetary Peace Movement (PPM) founded by Grand Master Choa
Kok Sui (GMCKS) and Charlotte Marti Anderson, is dedicated
to promoting world peace and global harmony through meditation and
prayer. PPM International organizes lectures, workshops and seminars
in over 67 countries to promote awareness about meditating for world
peace. The Planetary Meditation for Peace created by GMCKS, is a
powerful meditation through which one blesses the entire earth with
love, peace, harmony and goodwill. The benefits of the meditation
include reduced stress, better health, increased calmness and inner
peace and tranquility. People from all walks of life are encouraged
to meditate and pray individually as well as in groups for peace and
harmony in the world. EFGPWH aids certain special PPM projects
including the audio-streaming of
special meditations guided by Grand Master Choa Kok
Sui, via the internet to meditators all over the world.

• ALLEVIATING SUFFERING THROUGH FEEDING PROGRAMS
USA
FEED YOUR SOUL
Feed Your Soul was started by GMCKS after seeing the sad state of
hundreds of homeless people in Santa Monica, California. Out of compassion
for the condition of these unfortunate street dwellers, GMCKS bought
100 burgers and had requested some students to hand them out.
Shortly thereafter, a regular feeding program was started in Santa
Monica. Meals were given out several times a week. Since then, Feed Your Soul
has distributed meals in Santa Monica, the Metropolitan Los Angeles
area, surrounding areas of Riverside, Orange County, Fresno, as
well as other states including Chicago, Illinois and St. Louis, and
Kansas City, Missouri.
FRIENDS IN NEED
Friends in Need Foundation, Inc. is a non-profit charitable
organization with the purpose of helping the less fortunate by
providing food, clothing, and wellness programs. They also work
together with other organizations dedicated to ending or minimizing
hunger and hardship in Manhattan and in other New York City
boroughs.
Feeding programs were initiated in New York City, Newark,
Philadelphia, and Miami. They now have regular programs in New
York, New Jersey, Florida and Philadelphia.

BRAZIL
PAO NOSSO

helps poverty-stricken people in the favatas of Sao Paulo, Brazil .
Around 180 families are given a Basic Food Kit (including soap)

PHILIPPINES
MCKS CHARITABLE FOUNDATION
The MCKS Charitable Foundation sponsors several humanitarian
projects initiated by Grand Master Choa Kok Sui around the world
including projects to feed the hungry and rehabilitate the homeless.
It is fully funded by international donations. Less than 1% of
received donations is used for administrative purposes, with nearly
all going directly to the various charitable activities. In 2006, EFWPGH provided 1,000,000 meals in the Philippines
through the MCKS FOOD FOR THE HUNGRY FOUNDATION,
supported by the MCKS Charitable Foundation.

• INTERNATIONAL DISASTER RELIEF
USA
HURRICANE IVAN 2004
Hurricane Ivan, the most intense and destructive hurricane of the
2004 season left many homeless, without power and food. Around 52
people died and 25,000 homes were destroyed rendering thousands
homeless. Hardest hit was Pensacola , Florida where a portion of a
major east-west highway through the Panhandle was washed away.
Insurance experts estimated the storm damage from anywhere between
US$4-$10 billion. Endowment Fund helped the victims by providing
shelter and food to some of the victims.
HURRICANE KATRINA 2005
Hurricane Katrina was the costliest and one of the deadliest
hurricanes in the history of the United States . Most catastrophic
was the effect on the city of New Orleans , Louisiana which was
mostly flooded due to the hurricane. Katrina is estimated to be
responsible for $81.2 billion in damages and killing at least 1800
people and rendering many homeless.
Due to the extent of the
catastrophe, only rescue workers from designated organizations were
allowed to enter the affected area.
Immediately, EFWPGH disbursed funds to render assistance, in
order to provide the victims with shelter and food. People were
forced to evacuate and move to different states, most of them
relocating to the neighboring state, Texas. EFWPGH is still helping
the victims by providing them with new homes and jobs.
SOUTHERN ASIA
INDONESIAN TSUNAMI 2004
In December 2004, a major earthquake followed by a tsunami hit
Asia and Africa , devastating many coastal areas. Almost 200,000
people in eight countries perished in a few hours, and over 100,000
are still missing. Many more had their homes and livelihoods swept
away. The coastal areas of Indonesia and Sri Lanka and two Indian
island chains bore the brunt of the calamity. Immediately, EFWPGH
funds were authorized to a Global organization that had direct
access to the Tsunami victims providing shelter, food and clean
water.
EARTHQUAKE IN INDIA AND
PAKISTAN 2006
More than 4 million people were rendered homeless due to the
devastating earthquake and at least 75,000 were killed and over
100,000 people injured in India and Pakistan . Reports indicated
that entire towns and villages were completely wiped out in Northern
Pakistan with other surrounding areas also suffering severe damage.
Relief efforts were drastically slow due to inadequate access to the
region and severity of weather.
The Endowment Fund for Global Peace and World Healing, Inc.
helped the victims by providing tents and blankets, through the
Rotary International, RI District 3010, India. These tents were
used as temporary homes as they were waterproof and windproof making
them suitable shelters in high altitude areas.
• FUTURE PLANS
In the future, Research into Alternative Healing with particular
emphasis on Pranic Energy Healing® is planned. Plans to promote
further initiatives to integrate proven forms of alternative healing
into global markets are being explored.
The Endowment Fund for World Peace and Global Healing, Inc. was
founded on the principle of giving and sharing as taught by all
major world religions and is guided by MCKS through his humanitarian
example and the inspiration of his extremely active charitable
activities. His recommendations are very much appreciated.
